Swim instructors and water fitness instructors from various Fairfax County Park Authority sites gathered at Providence Rec Center on Sunday, Aug. 23 to participate in the Aquatics Instructor Summit. The event brought more than 75 aquatics professionals together to network, learn and grow their skills. Featuring both a classroom-based educational session and hands-on training in the pool, participants developed expertise they will be able to apply directly in their aquatics programs moving forward. The connections and real-world skills that our instructors learned during this session will help make aquatics programming achieve a new level of excellence in the coming months.
